Ákos Kovách
Ákos Kovách is a partner in our office. Ákos is one of the leading practitioners in competition law in Hungary. He specialises in merger control cases, cartel proceedings and antitrust matters. His practice includes advising and representing clients throughout various proceedings initiated by the Hungarian Competition Authority and advising on the implementation of competition compliance programmes. He also advises on EU regulatory issues and regularly represents his clients before the European Commission.
He has acquired significant experience in advising major international companies on M&A transactions and has a proven track record assisting clients on structuring their investments in Hungary.
Ákos is a recommended lawyer in various international legal directories such as Chambers and Legal 500 for competition law in Hungary. Ákos is a qualified lawyer in both Hungary and France. He was appointed as a foreign trade advisor for France in 2013 and is a member of the Hungarian Association of Competition Law.
